The power of truth will unlock all doors and locks that would attempt to keep us bound and in bondage.
The love of God's Truth and His Righteousness will protect us from all of the works of the evil one.
"And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth,
and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of
Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in
them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."
2 Thessalonians 2:8-10.

The Power Of Truth
Pure truth is power. There is no substitute for truth. Truth opens doors and will set you free when properly sought and applied to situations in your life. The power of truth can unlock everything that binds you. It is the power that backs freedom, and gives life and light to the world.
"...If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin." "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:31-32,34, 36.
"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief." Proverbs 28:13-14.
We can not harden our hearts to God, or put anything else in His rightful place. His Truth will set us free. We should have a love for the truth, and not settle for anything that is a false substitute for truth. We need to seek after God's presence, truth, and righteousness continually. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33.
Truth Is The Very Fabric Of The Universe
The power of God is pure and holy, and shines into every corner of the universe. Truth is a bright light which exposes everything that is false and in error. Truth is the character of God. Nothing can escape from its reach. God upholds the universe by His truth. It is impossible for God to lie (Numbers 23:19, Titus 1:2). Every Word that He speaks has creative power, and is inherently truthful. God does not create anything that is evil.
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they." Hebrews 1:1-4. Truth is in Jesus' nature. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6. Jesus is full of grace and truth. "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us...full of grace and truth." John 1:14.
Jesus said that He would send the Holy Spirit to reprove the world of sin (John 16:7-12). The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of truth. "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." John 16:13-14.
The Light Shines in The Darkness To Reveal Truth
Light exposes darkness, and every hidden sin and evil thing shall eventually be revealed by the light of God's truth. No one can hide their sins from God, nor shall their sins be hidden forever from man. Truth will always expose sin. Nothing hid shall remain hidden forever, but will all be exposed by the light of the truth.
"And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear." Mark 4:21-23.
Woe to those who partake in darkness, and choose to lie and sin! Your sins shall find you out. If you obey God's instructions you are blessed, "But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out." Numbers 32:23.
"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." John 3:19-21.
"And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." John 1:5.
Disobedience to God's ways and instructions demonstrates that one is walking in darkness. Have nothing to do with anyone who is walking in darkness, for the truth is not currently alive and working in them. We should inspect a person's fruit to see if they are displaying right fruits, including truth and peace.
"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God." Ephesians 5:6-21.
"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:5-7.
We Should Be Ambassadors Of His Light -- We Have No Excuse But To Spread Truth
"And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever." Daniel 12:3.
"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12.
Believing Truth Or Believing A Lie
God instructs us to think only on true and pure things, and not to believe a lie or exchange the truth for a lie. See Romans 1:25,28.
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20.
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8.
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6. Do you believe that He is Truth?
His Word Is His Truth
"Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it." "Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever." Psalm 119:140,160.
Happy Is He That Knows And Hopes In God's Truth And Also Keeps Truth
"Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:" Psalm 146:5.
"The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward." Psalm 19:7-11.
Eating And Drinking Unworthily
"And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come." 1 Corinthians 11:24-34. Before we partake of communion with the Lord Jesus, we need to make sure that there in no unrepented sin in our lives. For if we have unbelief, lies, or sin present in our lives, we must "come clean" before God and repent of everything that is displeasing to Him. We must take advantage of the sacrifice that Jesus paid for us through His precious blood. When we lie, steal, or deceive others we are showing that we are unworthy to be trusted, and we have lies and deception, instead of truth, ruling us as a person. Many are sick and dying among you because of lies and the lack of God's truth demonstrated in their daily living. "When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right." Proverbs 16:7-8. "Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom." Psalm 51:6. Our hope in God must be based on truth, and it's through Jesus (Colossians 1:27).
Penalty For Corrupted Fruit
"Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land." "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." Hosea 4:1,6.
To avoid following after the antichrist, we need a love for the truth and for righteousness. God's Truth is His Holy Standard that does not change. Every deviation from the truth is a deception. People will perish and also be deceived because they received not the love of the truth. They received and believed a lie. We must flee from all manner of evil, and instead hold to God's truth and His righteousness.
"And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle." 2 Thessalonians 2:8-15.
Pray For God's Truth In Every Area Of Your Life
God is seeking a people who would hunger and thirst after His righteousness. He wants us to be so filled with His Truth, His Righteousness, and His Presence that nothing else matters. Truth will guide us into all good things, if we search for His Truth and greatly desire it. God's Truth will also protect us from all attacks of the enemy, including from the antichrist, if we have a love of the truth and righteousness.
"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." Matthew 5:6."Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." Proverbs 3:5-7. We should love truth, shun evil and learn to live in His righteousness.
