"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13. Jesus Christ is your hope, your joy, your strength, and your source for everything that you need. God has given you a blank checkbook, to draw whatever you need, to accomplish the goals that He has called you to accomplish in life. God did not leave you broke or powerless! You have the potential to do all things through Christ! Your faith will open the door to unlimited power, strength, joy, and blessings. A lack of faith in God will prevent you from fulfilling your God-given destiny in Christ. In other words, you get to decide if you will limit God, or embrace faith in Him and in Jesus Christ! Some people say, I tried faith, but it never worked for me, or that God let me down. Faith has rules that must be diligently obeyed to reap the benefits of faith. It is wise for you to stop blaming God, and other people, for your problems and failures, and instead learn to apply faith properly. God can not lie! His Word works, when you approach It, and apply It, properly. First, make sure there is nothing between you and God, that is limiting or blocking your faith in Him, His Word, and in Jesus Christ. Any unconfessed sin can prevent you from receiving from God. These include sins of unforgiveness, pride, hatred, bitterness, anger, jealousy, or being judgmental. These clearly violate Jesus' Command to love God and to love others. See Matthew 22:37-40. Faith begins by coming to God, and repenting of your sins and believing upon Jesus. Then, you must maintain your faith in God! If you doubt, waver in faith, or are double-minded, you should not expect to receive anything from The Lord. See James 1:2-8. Faith requires commitment, to believe God no matter what! You must walk by faith, not by sight. "...whatsoever is not of faith is sin." Romans 14:23. Constantly check yourself, to make sure you are walking in faith, and not believing your flesh or the world. Any time you believe anyone or anything other than God, you are denying God the honor that is due to Him, and showing a lack of faith by not trusting Him. "Is any thing too hard for the LORD?..." Genesis 18:14. Too many people have ignored God, and His Ways, and have followed after their own pride, desires, and sin. Ask for God's Help, to confess, and break, all evil and sinful agreements that you have made with the enemy. Once you are free, receiving deliverance from all sin, bondages, and evil, be filled with The Word and Spirit. Now you can walk in freedom, and in faith, doing everything that God has called you to do. Avoid every sin, temptation, and thing that draws you away from your exclusive relationship with God. God will not tolerate there being any other gods before Him in your life, including putting your self above Him, which is idolatry. Faith must be from the heart, and not from the mind. Mental faith may quote Scripture, but does not always believe God. You need to have the God kind of faith living inside you, so that you will always believe God. "Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us." 1 John 3:21-24. "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." Mark 9:23. "For with God nothing shall be impossible." Luke 1:37. Only you can stop faith working in you, by fear, envy, disbelief, unforgiveness, or any sins. Faith requires absolute belief and confidence upon God and on Jesus. "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." Mark 11:22-26. Be careful with words you speak. Matthew 12:36-37.
