God, by way of Jesus Christ, has paid the ultimate price with Christ's Blood, to redeem you from the penalty of sin. Jesus freely gave His Life, so you could have eternal life abiding with Him, and The Heavenly Father. Faith pleases God. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6. "...If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:31-32,36. Faith is demonstrated by our thoughts, words, and actions. You will one day stand before God and give an account for every word you have spoken. Your words will either free you or condemn you by demonstrating faith in God or unbelief. Sin is unbelief. "...the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Matthew 12:33-37. Jesus finished the work. He provides access to abundant life, if you believe upon Him and abide with Him. "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10. "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days..." Deuteronomy 30:19-20. "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:1. Life is all about who you choose to believe and to serve. You will serve your flesh or serve God. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatians 6:7-9. Abide in Faith. You must be so dependent upon God, and upon Christ, that you are totally led by The Spirit, and not by flesh. "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:" Isaiah 26:3-4. Always reverence and obey God. "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." Proverbs 3:5-7. Ask The Precious Holy Spirit to help you faithfully, humbly serve God. God desires a relationship with you, not a ritual. Watch out for trying to be religious, by following after the doctrines of man. Keeping some man made rules will not profit you anything. Only faithfully obeying God's Commands pleases Him. "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." 2 Timothy 3:5. Faith is belief in God, and Jesus Christ. "...whatsoever is not of faith is sin." Romans 14:23. People get into agreement with the world, other people, evil things, and the enemy. Sin delights in entangling you with all forms of bondage. Spiritual oppression is common today. You need to break all agreements you have made that are contrary to God's Commands. God truly wants you to be free indeed, so that you can do His Word, and faithfully complete the work that He has for you. Jesus Christ is our example. He has already done everything necessary so you can do your proper work for God. You need to abide in His Finished Work. Enter into His Rest, and by faith, believe and speak God's Word, into every situation you encounter in life.
