The world operates by faith. Every day you choose to believe in people and things to accomplish many tasks. God's Kingdom operates by faith, and always works through love. Faith is an action that demonstrates what you believe. Every Christian who believes Jesus, should live a life of holiness and faith, through Jesus Christ, bearing good fruit that pleases God. You are to continue to live in faith living in Christ's Righteousness. "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith." Romans 1:17. It is God's desire that you walk in The Spirit, and not in flesh, always abiding by faith in Jesus. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6. Everything apart from faith is sin, and causes there to be a separation between you and God. God is looking for your behavior and personality to be acceptable to Him, being conformed to, and transformed by, the author of faith, who is Jesus Christ. Godly behavior is expected to confirm what you believe. "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" Hebrews 12:14. "...for whatsoever is not of faith is sin." Romans 14:23. Today, many professing followers of Jesus, feel that it is acceptable to think and act in any way they desire, as long as they call themselves "Christians." Praying a sinner's prayer, to show genuine repentance to God is good, but is not sufficient by itself to maintain a life of faith in Christ. When you come to God, through faith in Jesus Christ, you are making a vow, similar to a marriage covenant, to be faithful, holy, and pure in your relationship with Him. If you truly desire Jesus to be both your Lord and your Savior, you must be faithful to always keep your part of the covenant. Do you make Him Lord over every thought, action, and decision? Many people want a savior in Jesus Christ but stop demonstrating that they want Him to be Lord of their life. Abiding in faith in Christ means to continually show by your thoughts, words, and actions that you are His. A life of faith in Jesus will transform you, by connecting you with God, your source of power. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind..." Romans 12:2. Renew your mind with God's Word. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:" Philippians 2:5.

God responds to faith. Jesus is continually looking to reward people according to their faith. The answer to every situation is faith. "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God." Mark 11:22. You exhibit faith when you believe, trust, and depend on God, without doubting, always firmly believing in God's Word. "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11:24. Forgive others, so God will forgive your sins. Abide in faith, and in love.

People do not receive from God, and from Jesus Christ, because they have not fully received the forgiveness of all their sins through Jesus Christ. They must remove all compromise and mixture from their life, so that they present their bodies as clean vessels for God to use. God is Holy. He has made you holy through Christ. "Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God." Leviticus 20:7. "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." 1 Peter 1:15-16. You must reverence and have respect for God at all times. Faith honors God. "...God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you..." James 4:6-8.

Your faith is demonstrated by your thoughts, words, and actions. God is watching to see if you really believe Him. Be careful to never deny God, Jesus or God's Word! Ask The Holy Spirit to help you have faith in God. "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." Mark 9:23-24.
